This is a non-pretentious, friendly, great value cafe and bakery. It's very busy, probably because it's so popular, so it might be necessary to wait a little while for the excellent cafe service. I enjoyed a full English breakfast whilst my husband had something similar. Happily for us, this cafe was also dog friendly. Whilst there, I did hear another customer waxing lyrical about the quality of their fresh bread. Unfortunately we were leaving Southwold the next day, so had no excuse to buy bread ourself.- Parking
- There's no parking for this cafe but plenty of available free parking nearby. Also paid parking too, if the free spaces are all taken.

Best bakery in Southworld. Not too fancy like the others in town but great value for money and amazing tasting foods. I always come here for sandwiches and cakes when visiting. They also have seating inside and outside.

Absolutely lovely cafe, lovely staff who are always so friendly and welcoming. Depending on the time of day, you can be served immediately or a small wait, usually less than 5 minutes. Pet friendly as long as they are behaved and on leads. They have takeway options as well.

Great little cafe, not too pricey but excellent food. Had the full English and bacon and brie and cranberry pannini, both very tasty. Nice cakes too.

Really tidy little place to stop off for some sustenance! Service was attentive, and they made my puppy's day by bringing him a sausage!! Bought several cakes to have at home, bread pudding was superb and I had a crunchy nut cornflake millionaires style shortbread with jam it banged hard !!! Lovely place lovely grub, do it.

Absolutely superb Full English Breakfast and the staff really lovely. Also during our week stay in Southwold we have had some really tasty pasties to take away and eat on the sea front.

A lovely little tea room/bakery/eatery situated in the middle of Southwold High Street. It offers a wide range of food to eat-in or take away, from jacket potatoes, to sandwiches, wraps, pies and warm sausage rolls, all at very reasonable prices too! Service was friendly and prompt. A great find - make sure to get there early as the indoor seating area is quite small.
Sandwiches/Rolls/Baguettes freshly made to order. Lovely soft, fresh breads. Vegan pasties available. The bakery can get busy, but I imagine is popular for a reason. The best thing about this bakery is the coffee. Absolutely superb! I love a soya latte and this is without doubt among the best I have ever tasted. 5 stars for that alone.
A Fantastic, Delicious Birthday Cake prepared at very short notice. (Due to being let down only days before my child's party) The very helpful brilliant girl that works at the bakery got me out of a right pickle. Thank you so much Farmhouse Bakery.
It is great to find a straight forward bakers/cafe in Southwold. Mugs of tea. Cakes/pastries. Sausage rolls. Veggie options. Nice loaves of bread. Friendly staff. Tables inside for lunch or cup of tea.
